lyrics

She is the memory,
the memory in my mind
Memories don’t go to sleep,
they’re rekindled all the time

Every time I see you Babe,
I think of all you’ve meant
Every time I see you look at me
I see a love that’s Heaven sent

But you are the one,
the one I know, the one I love
The one that makes the stars above me glow

I’ve got memories of love,
and visions in my mind
I’ve got memories of you
for a long, long time

The thought of you and some kids Babe,
will always make me smile
You’ve made my life complete
and made it all worthwhile

And you are the one,
the one I know, the one I love
The one that makes the stars above me glow

If not for you Babe,
the seeds of love would be unsown
You’ve brought a quality…
such that I’ve never known

But now I thank you Babe,
you’ve opened up my eyes
I will always be in debt to you,
beyond the tears that I’ve cried

Cause you are the one,
the one I know, the one I love
The one that makes the stars above me glow
Yes you are the one,
the one I know, the one I love
The one that made the stars high above me glow

about

Luc Normand Ontario

A Canadian singer/songwriter who started off as a drummer in a band that had no musicians capable of composing music to go with his lyrics. One guy threw an old beat up guitar in his lap and said "Here... pluck out the melody on one string."

That was 1982.

Now look where it's gotten us...
